Original MacBook Plastic - DDR2
|
Motherboard RAM: 0mb
Sockets: 2
RAM Type: DDR2-667Mhz or DDR2-800Mhz SO-DIMMs
Overview: The white or black plastic MacBook uses DDR2-667 or DDR2-800 memory depending on the version of MacBook you have. What type of RAM do you need?
Maximum Memory: The early MacBook models that run the "Intel Core Duo" have a maximum memory of 2GB, the newer MacBooks that run the "Intel Core2 Duo" can run a maximum of 4GB. The latest (Early 2008 and newer) plastic MacBooks (Model Versions 3,1 and newer) can run 6GB with the installation of one 4GB module and one 2GB module. Please consult your Apple System Profiler to find your Model Version (under the Apple Menu select "About This Mac", then hit the "More Info" Button).
Non-Stacked IC's: Ramjet uses a Non-stacked module for the 2GB and 4GB DDR2-667 module for the MacBook. The cheaper stacked IC variety of 2GB and 4GB SO-DIMM runs hotter and draws more power, which hurts performance and decreases battery life. Ramjet ONLY uses premium non-stacked chips.
Trade-In Rebate: Your Apple original memory can be returned to Ramjet for a trade-in rebate. Please check our Rebate Page for details.
