These internal SATA drives can be installed into the PowerMac G5, the Mac Pro, and the iMac G5. The Mac Pro has four (4x) internal drive bays. The PowerMac G5 series has two (2x) internal SATA drive bays. The iMac G5 has one drive bay.

These internal Laptop drives can be installed into the MacBook, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini Intel. The exception is the 1TB drive, which will only work in a MacBook or MacBook Pro "Unibody", or the "Original" MacBook Pro 17 inch. There is just one drive bay in these computers, so you will remove your old drive and install this new one.
